Just a warning that there is a bike rack thief on the loose. If you can put a paddle lock thru it…do it! If you see any suspects, please get license plate numbers and visual descriptions. Yesterday’s theft was at Midland’s City Forest, but this could happen anywhere.

We had a great day of racing at the Pine Haven Recreation Area for the 2008 “30 Miles of Pain Haven”. The weather was perfect, the course well marked and manicured, not to forget the food, beer and prizes. Thanks to Jeff (and Jennifer) Adamcik and the many sponsors and volunteers that contributed. If you haven’t participated in this event before, you should consider it in 2009. Three different classes (Beginner, Sport & Open) should accommodate most abilities. You may still be able to see the markings that designate the nearly 10 mile loop, if you want to check it out.
